In the coming year, the tax service plans to check more than 4,000 companies. It is reported by Opendatabot with reference to the data of the State Tax Service..

Thus, the State Tax Service plans to conduct documentary checks of 2085 companies, 140 non-resident financial companies and 1461 sole traders. In addition, it is planned to check the payment of ERUs and the military tax: for large businesses - 9, for medium - 85, for small - 232.

In addition, 97% of the schedule for 2023 are taxpayers whose scheduled inspections were not carried out in 2022. As well as those businesses that, based on the results of reporting in the current year, have high risks of non-payment of taxes.

First of all, the following companies will be checked:.

whose level of income tax payment is 50% lower than the industry average;

having relations with counterparties who are wanted or liquidated - if the amount of transactions is more than 5% of the total volume of transactions, but not less than UAH 100,000;

about which there is information on tax evasion;

having signs of fictitious;

whose registration has been canceled by a court order;

in relation to which the fact of failure to file tax returns during two tax (reporting) periods has been established;

wanted;

who have been declared bankrupt.

Lawyer Yakov Voronin explains: one should not confuse the publication of a schedule of scheduled inspections and their actual implementation.

If the State Tax Service had not published the schedule within the time period established by law, it would not have been able to conduct inspections even after the moratorium was lifted in 2023.

" Therefore, we should expect a bill to lift the moratorium to be submitted to Parliament soon.. If we review the published schedule of scheduled inspections, we will see that they will not be in January, they are planned starting from February 2023. in a small amount. And with each subsequent month, the number of scheduled inspections is growing,"
