NEURC published draft resolutions on a two-stage increase in tariffs for water and sewerage in 2023

Tariffs for cold water and drainage systems may change twice next year. Relevant draft resolutions appeared on the website of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities.

The first increase is scheduled from January 1 of the new year, and the second - from July.

New tariffs must be approved on December 27.

According to the projects, for example, in regional centers, the price for sewerage and water supply is planned to be set as follows:.

Poltavavodokanal: UAH 42.13 (UAH 22.24. /19.88 UAH. /cube).

Dnipro-Kirovograd (Kropyvnytskyi): 54.22 hryvnias (30.19/24.036).

Vodokanal in Uzhhorod: UAH 50.27 (30.75/19.51).

Infoksvodokanal (Odessa): UAH 42.24 (21.94/20.28).

Water tariffs in areas heavily affected by hostilities will not be reviewed. These are Kharkiv, Nikolaev and Kherson regions.

Recall that at the end of July 2022, a moratorium was adopted (bill No. 7427) on raising prices for some utilities until the end of the war and six months after the end of the war. The ban on price hikes applies in particular to:.

gas distribution services;

thermal energy - its production, transportation and supply;

thermal energy and hot water supply services.

Water tariffs are set not by local authorities, but by NEURC.

Recall also that the NEURC approved a three-stage increase in electricity tariffs in 2023. The decision will affect non-residential consumers.

Tariff increase money will be used for emergency restoration of damaged electric power facilities.
