The Ministry of Agrarian Policy starts accepting applications from enterprises to be included in the list of critical infrastructure facilities. The goal is to minimize the negative impact of the energy crisis on the work of the agricultural sector. This was reported by the press service of the department.

“Critical infrastructure facilities are identified where agricultural production is identified as an important element. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy is fixed as an authorized body that can consider and fix the list of critical infrastructure facilities. Objects that are critical for food security will have additional tools to guarantee the receipt of electricity,” said Denis Bashlyk, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization.

The department has created a working group to identify and categorize critical infrastructure facilities in the food industry and agro-industrial complex.

“Enterprises can submit documents to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy for inclusion in the list of critical infrastructure facilities in accordance with the Procedure for classifying objects as critical infrastructure, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on October 9, 2020 No. 1109 “Some issues of critical infrastructure facilities,” the report says..
