Petition demanding to veto Bill 5655 on reforming urban planning received the required number of votes in record time. The petition was registered on the website of the Official Internet Representation of the Office of the President of Ukraine only on December 12, and already on December 13, immediately after the adoption of the scandalous bill 5655, the document gained more than 25,000 votes.

Despite the huge negative resonance in society on the bill, which was lobbied by MP Elena Shulyak (“Servant of the People”), on December 13, after 18:00, people’s deputies supported the reform without discussing and taking into account the comments of different parties.

The petition gained votes almost immediately after the vote.

Society has never reacted so lightning fast to the leveling of the key rules of democracy and parliamentarism.
