Ukraine and Poland will form a working group to look for options for localizing a project to build a cross-border pipeline to transport oil from Ukraine to the port of Gdansk, reports the Polish edition of wnp. pl.

The Council of Ministers of Poland agreed to conclude a corresponding memorandum of understanding between the Ministries of Agrarian Policy and Infrastructure of both countries.

" Therefore, this should reduce the migration pressure on Europe,"

The memorandum will be concluded for three years with an automatic extension for another three years.. The document provides for the creation of a working group that will submit for approval by the parties possible options for the location of the project, including the proposed pipeline routes.. Also, the working group will provide information on possible indicative technical parameters, cost and conditions for the implementation of the project..

It also provides for the possibility of terminating the memorandum, but not later than six months before the end of the next period.

Ukraine is considered a major global producer and exporter of grain and vegetable oils.. Before the start of a full-scale war, more than 90% of these products were exported through the Ukrainian Black Sea ports. At the same time, food shortages lead to imbalances in world markets and can lead to starvation in countries that are especially dependent on food imports..

Grain Agreement.

On the evening of July 22, Ukraine, Turkey and Russia, with the support of the UN Secretary General, agreed to ensure the safe export of grain from the Ukrainian ports "

"

Thanks to the agreement, it is planned to export about 20 million tons of last year's grain crop.

On the morning of July 23, Russia launched four missile strikes on Odessa. Two missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft defense, two others hit the infrastructure of the port (in particular, a pumping station), a fire broke out. The grain storage was not damaged.

Currently, Ukraine exports grain in the volumes that the security situation allows.
