Debts on a communal apartment among Ukrainians are growing. And this is often justified, since many were left without work and income.. However, for the period of martial law in Ukraine, it is forbidden to disconnect subscribers from housing and communal services due to debts, as well as to stop their provision. This is stated in the clarification of the Seventh Administrative Court of Appeal, writes Finance.

It is noted that the above prohibitions are regulated by the relevant government decree..

There is also a ban on the accrual and collection of penalties (fines, penalties), inflation charges, annual interest accrued on debt "

“Thus, the legislator has ensured the uninterrupted provision of services even in the presence of debts. However, this does not exempt consumers of services from paying for them in full, because filling the budget is one of the components of economic stability, ”the explanation says..
