Due to high commercial gas prices, 10 sugar factories will not start this year. This was announced by the deputy director of the Gnidovsky sugar factory Alexander Nikishin.

According to him, sugar producers have two problems this year - war and energy prices.. If the plant worked only on gas, then out of the 600-700 tons produced per day, 400 tons of sugar would have to be paid for gas.

" This was the reason that another 10 factories will not work this year, that is, only 22 sugar factories will be launched throughout Ukraine,"

The plant promises to resume production in September, despite the difficult economic situation..
