According to the State Statistics Service, in June 2022, inflation in the consumer market amounted to 103.1% compared to May 2022. And since the threshold of 103% has been exceeded, wages should be indexed in Ukraine.

The indexation amount is obtained by multiplying the salary by the indexation coefficient.

Taking into account the inflation rate of 103.1%, the index in August will be 3.1.

Only that part of the salary that is equal to the current subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons is indexed. The part of the salary that exceeds this indicator remains unchanged..

From July 1, 2022, the cost of living is UAH 2,600.

Therefore, the indexation amount in August will be UAH 80.60.

Recall that, according to the law " Starting from January 2016, the indexation threshold is set at 103%.

Martial law does not relieve employers of the obligation to index the wages of workers working on a full or part-time basis.

At the same time, if the employee was on vacation for a whole month or was sick for a whole month, then indexation is not charged.. Since there is no salary on which indexation could be calculated (and payments calculated according to the average salary are not indexed).

Wages paid to employees for downtime are also not subject to indexation..

According to the State Statistics Service, inflation in the consumer market in June 2022. compared to May 2022. amounted to 103.1%.

In particular, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 3.2% in June. Eggs increased the most (by 17.2%). Prices for sugar, rice, cereal products, pork, vegetables, poultry meat increased by 10.9-4.2%.. At the same time, prices for beef and fruits fell by 1.1%..

Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 2.4%, in t. for alcoholic beverages - by 3.

4%, tobacco products - by 1.4%.

Clothes and footwear fell in price by 1.4%, in particular, clothes - by 1.8%, shoes - by 0.9%.

Transportation prices rose by 11.2% mainly due to a rise in the price of fuel and lubricating oils by 21.3%, as well as road and rail passenger transport by 7.4% and 4.5%, respectively..

The price of communication services increased by 0.9%, which is associated with a rise in the price of postal services and telephone equipment by 3.0%.
