Ukraine is ready for the upcoming heating season by an average of 60%. Replenishment of storage facilities with coal and gas is carried out according to the schedule and will allow the country to survive the winter stably. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

According to the politician, together with the regional, local authorities and communities, the government is preparing for “all possible scenarios” during the 2022/2023 heating season..

“Currently, all regions are ready by an average of 60%. This is in line with the preparation plan developed by the government. We will accelerate in this direction in order to stably pass the heating season,” Shmyhal said..

The head of the Cabinet noted that according to the plan, 2.5 million tons of coal should be provided in the warehouses of thermal power plants and thermal power plants by October 15. Energy Minister German Galushchenko reported that as of August 4, 1.
