Half of Ukrainians had their wages cut by 10 percent or more during the war, according to a survey by the Rating sociological group conducted on July 23-24 among a thousand respondents in Ukrainian government-controlled territory..
For 43% of respondents, the salary has not changed, for 9% it has increased.
Income decreased most of all among those working remotely or partially, as well as among entrepreneurs. At the same time, among civil servants, the relative majority retained their previous salary.
In the event of a further reduction in wages, 57% of citizens are ready to continue working at their place of work, 40% will look for a new job. The latter are more among young people working in the private sector or self-employed.
The number of unemployed is growing most in the east (in June - 53%, in July - 57%).
In the central regions, 37% of residents are now unemployed, in the west - 32%.

83% of respondents are confident that they will keep their job for the next six months, 11% are not sure about this (these are, in particular, those people whose salaries have decreased by more than 50%).
