The government lifted the ban on the export of rye and mineral fertilizers. Automatic licensing mode has been introduced for these products. It is reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
So far, there is no shortage of rye in the country: its remains in Ukraine are estimated at 73 thousand. tons, and grain production is projected at the level of 351 thousand. tons. The government assures that this will meet the internal demand for consumption, which is 353 thousand. tons per year.
The lifting of the ban on the export of mineral fertilizers is connected with the completion of the sowing campaign, due to which the demand for their purchase has significantly decreased.
The fact that the surplus of these commodity items will be exported will increase foreign exchange earnings in the country, which is an important condition for economic recovery..
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced a zero quota for the export of rye and mineral fertilizers, which actually meant a ban on their export.. Such measures were taken to ensure the mandatory presence on the market of these critical goods..
Even earlier, the government lifted the ban imposed on March 5 this year on the export of sugar and millet..
