After the unification of the energy system of Ukraine and the EU, in terms of the electricity sector, Ukraine has already become a member of the EU. Accordingly, when organizing the export of electricity to the EU, it must act in accordance with the rules of the European Union. About this in an interview with ZN. UA told the head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky.

He emphasized that these rules provide for transparent competitive auctions, in which companies will be sold access to interstate power lines, which actually carry out exports or imports.. These auctions will be held in accordance with European rules, and any participants who register on the Ukrenergo auction platform will be able to take part in them.. Participants who give the highest price for access will receive it and, accordingly, the opportunity to export electricity. This is how it is happening all over Europe..

Ukraine, according to Kudrytsky, will not be an exception. Export to the EU as such is possible only on the condition that Ukraine complies with all European rules.
