About the relevant agreement between the National Banks of Belgium and Ukraine, with reference to a press release from the main financial department of this country, writes The Brussels Times.

“We consider it our humanitarian duty to offer this service to refugees, and therefore we are pleased that, thanks to our efforts, this service can be made available in our country,” said Tim Germans, director of the Belgian National Bank..

Before the war, the Ukrainian currency was in limited access, European banks and currency exchanges did not transport or exchange banknotes.

Recall that economist Mykhailo Kukhar recently said that Ukraine is experiencing the largest and most severe recession in the economy in the second quarter of 2022, but inevitable growth will begin in the third or fourth quarters..
