In the Odessa region, they told how to get rid of the shortage of salt in Ukraine, which arose because of the war against the Russian Federation. They propose to develop alternative deposits located on the territory of the region. This is reported by " Mechnikov Vladimir Kadurin.

According to the scientist, the best option for replacing salt from Artemovsk and Slavyansk may be a product from the Izmail deposit. Its reserves are about 4 billion. tons and can meet the needs of Ukraine for thousands of years to come. The depth of salt in the deposit is more than 100 meters.

“It may well replace Artemovskoye and Slavyanskoye. If the situation in the Soledar area remains the same for a long time, then it is necessary to develop the Izmail field,” Kadurin said..

Recall that in recent weeks there has been a shortage of salt in Ukraine. This is due to the fact that the State Enterprise " It provided about 90% of salt production in Ukraine. Currently, only the salt works in Drohobych operate in the country, but its capacity is not enough to provide even the Lviv region.
