The United Arab Emirates (UAE) resumed oil supplies to Europe amid European importers refusing to buy oil from Russia. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing ship tracking services..

These are dramatic changes in the market, since before that, the last time oil from the UAE was supplied to Europe was two years ago, namely in May 2020, during the spread of the coronavirus and the collapse of the oil market.

It is specified that now the Moscow Spirit oil tanker, hired by the French oil and gas company TotalEnergies SA, is heading from the UAE to the Dutch port of Rotterdam.

According to Bloomberg, it contains about 1 million barrels of Emirati oil.. Total also sent an oil supertanker to Egypt, which is likely to also then proceed to Europe through the Mediterranean port of Sedi Kerir.
