Russia's international reserves fell by $1 billion (0.2%) over the week to $592.1 billion as of May 6.

Earlier, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation reported that in April, reserves decreased by 2.2% to $593.052 billion..

It was reported that Russia's international reserves fell by 6% from $643.2 billion on February 18 to $606.5 billion on April 1.

About $300 billion of the total reserves are blocked by the sanctions of the European Union and the United States.
