100% of the corporate rights of one of the mining and processing plants of Ukraine, which supplied strategic products to Russia and at the same time evaded taxation in Ukraine, was seized. Reported by the Bureau of Economic Security.

The investigation established that the mentioned enterprise during 2020-2021 exported the mined titanium-containing raw materials to the enterprises of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. According to the documents, the plant supplied this raw material to an allegedly Austrian company. However, in fact, the products were immediately sent to Russian and Belarusian enterprises..

The cost of products sold was deliberately underestimated by a total amount of more than 56 million. UAH. This led to budget losses in the form of non-payment of income tax in the amount of more than 10 million. UAH.

By a court decision, 100% of the corporate rights of the company and the accounts of the specified enterprise opened in banking institutions of Ukraine were seized.

The director of the mining and processing plant was notified of suspicion on the fact of deliberate evasion of income tax.

Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, procedural management is carried out by prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General. The facts of underestimation of the cost of sold products and the amount of unpaid taxes were established in cooperation with employees of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine.
