From the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine to March 31, the number of deposits of legal entities and individuals in the banks of our country increased by UAH 28.1 billion in equivalent. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the National Bank Yaroslav Matuzka in an interview with FinClub.

“In general, the volume of customer funds has grown: as of March 31, we have plus UAH 28.1 billion in equivalent (for funds of legal entities and individuals in all currencies at a fixed rate) compared to the beginning of the war on February 24,” Matuzka said..



He clarified that the deposits of Ukrainians in hryvnia have increased by 18% since the beginning of the war..

The volumes of the hryvnia on current accounts are mainly growing, while term and foreign currency deposits are declining.

At the same time, the volume of funds of enterprises decreased, as a significant part of the funds went to pay salaries and taxes, and a large number of enterprises stopped working, Matuzka added..
