The All-Cypriot Bar Association of the Professional Association of Lawyers of the Republic of Cyprus requires its members to carefully assess the risks of their clients in accordance with the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation, immediately take measures and sanctions against all entities included in the sanctions list of the EU Council and no later than March 31, 2022 notify. This is stated in the relevant document..

It is noted that if lawyers provide such services, they must indicate the names of these persons, the type of property that is the subject of pledge (real estate, cash, financial instruments), as well as the total value of this property.. The same obligation applies in case of further introduction of additional restrictive measures or sanctions against the Russian Federation or Belarus.. Updated data must be submitted to the Supervision Department within 10 days of the announcement of new sanctions.

Obviously, such obligations make impossible any attempts by Russian companies or individuals to hide assets that should be subject to sanctions..

Recall that the legal team of Ukraine, together with executive authorities, in particular, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Energy and law enforcement agencies, is working on different platforms to legally fix Russia's guilt in the full-scale war launched against Ukraine on February 24, as well as to receive reparations from the aggressor.
