Payments to depositors of Sberbank (MR Bank) and Prominvestbank, which were under the control of Russia and are being liquidated by the decision of the NBU of February 25, 2022, should begin in the near future. This was stated by First Deputy Head of the National Bank Ekaterina Rozhkova, reports lb. ua.

“Without a temporary administration, they immediately went into liquidation, so it took more time for the Deposit Guarantee Fund to process.

In addition, there were restrictions on access to state registers, and this required more time for the liquidators to get the right to sign. But this has already been sorted out, and in the coming days, payments to Prominvestbank depositors should begin, a little later, depositors of the former Sberbank of Russia will receive this opportunity,"
