NNEGC Energoatom commented why an attempt to raid the Zaporozhye NPP, in which the Russian state holding Rosatom participates, is a bluff. The head of Energoatom, Pyotr Kotin, spoke about this in an interview for Radio Liberty..

" Rosatom does not have enough specialists to come here - this is the first thing,"

Secondly, according to him, if Rosatom specialists come here, they will be very uncomfortable.

" And this staff will not work here,"

Thirdly, Kotin stressed, Ukraine has always been a source of personnel for Rosatom..

" They all just thought that they would drive in their tanks so easily and seize our nuclear power plants - this is impossible,"

Kotin added that, despite the fact that there are occupiers at the ZNPP, Ukrainian specialists continue to work there..

" The occupiers tell the station staff that they can go wherever they want, but the Ukrainians understand that if they go, a nuclear catastrophe may occur, so they remain at their jobs,"

According to Kotin, there are about 50 units of military Russian equipment of the invaders and about 500 Russian soldiers at the station..

Recall that the military, who now control the perimeter of the station, told the staff that now it seems to belong to the Russian state company Rosatom.
