The Ministry of Finance expects an IMF mission in Ukraine in the near future, head of the ministry Serhiy Marchenko said on Facebook.

He noted the progress in negotiations with the IMF and recalled that Ukraine will receive $2.2 billion under the current program..

" The current program provides for $2.2 billion, and we continue to implement structural reforms to receive them..

We see progress in our relations with the IMF,"

He noted that despite the fact that the Ministry of Finance has limited access to the markets of external borrowing, however, the overfulfillment of the planned indicators of the revenue side (by more than UAH 9 billion) of the state budget allows you to feel confident.

" And not only money is important, but also a signal about its provision, which can significantly calm the markets,"
