The moratorium on the free circulation of agricultural land in Ukraine has held back the development of our country for 20 years. Restoring ownership of land was the principled position of President Volodymyr Zelensky, which he voiced during his election activities and which he fulfilled. It is thanks to his political will, position and assistance that the Land Reform took place in Ukraine, "

According to him, with the entry into force of the free circulation of agricultural land, that is, from July 1, and as of October 1, 2021, 28288 transactions were registered in Ukraine for a total area of \u200b\u200b70 596 hectares of land.

According to this indicator, Kharkiv region traditionally ranks second in the country.. So, since the opening of the land market in the Kharkiv region, 2,256 transactions were registered on 8,639 hectares of land, or 12% of Ukraine's indicator..

“Today, the land reform really has positive results both for Ukraine as a whole and for the Kharkiv region, and makes it possible, first of all, to exercise their constitutional rights for every citizen of Ukraine,” stressed the Deputy Director of the Department of Agroindustrial Development of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

He also noted that the Kharkiv region ranks third in Ukraine in three positions at once: in terms of the total area of \u200b\u200bagricultural land - today it is 2 million 411 thousand. ha; by area of \u200b\u200barable land - 1 million 932 thousand. ha; and soil quality.

“To date, the average rent for the use of land shares has a positive trend.. Last year it was at the level of 8.5% of the normative-monetary value of the land, this year it increased to 9.4%.

But the department reports to local governments - Bohodukhovskaya, Krasnokutskaya, Solonitsevskaya communities, in which the rent for land shares ranges from 12% to 13%. I think this is a very good indicator compared to previous years.. As of today, the total amount of payments amounted to UAH 938 million, which is 43.8% of the plan. For communities, this is undoubtedly an increase in budget revenues, ”said Yevgeny Filatov.
