The Russian operator Black Sea Cruises LLC announces the cancellation of cruises of the Prince Vladimir liner from the Krasnodar Territory of neighboring Russia to annexed Crimea due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Due to the unstable epidemiological situation and the prolongation of quarantine in the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, on the basis of the decree of the head of the Krasnodar Territory, we inform that the next cruises are canceled,” the operator’s website informed..
Estimated date for the resumption of cruises - mid July 2020.
The operator company announced the start of the navigation of “Prince Vladimir” on March 2. This year the ship was supposed to make 35 voyages.
FSUE “Rosmorport” in January 2017 established LLC “Black Sea Cruises”.
The company is the operator of sea cruises on the ship " This is the only Russian cruise ship that runs during the season of navigation from Sochi to the Black Sea with calls to Novorossiysk, Yalta and Sevastopol.
Earlier it was reported that in 2020 the vessel “Prince Vladimir” will make calls not only to the ports of the annexed Crimea, but also to the unrecognized Abkhazia.
Seaports located in the Crimea (Yevpatoriya, Kerch, Sevastopol, Feodosia, Yalta) were closed by order of the Ukrainian authorities in 2014.
