Infrastructure Minister Vladislav Krikliy and Wizz Air CEO Joseph Varadi discussed prospects for expanding Wizz Air's presence in the Ukrainian market.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Krikliy noted that the priority tasks of the Ministry are to increase the availability of air travel for Ukrainians, increase passenger traffic through Ukrainian airports and develop regional airports.
The strategic goal is to increase the share of low-cost airlines in the Ukrainian aviation market this year to 45%.
Varadi noted that the Ukrainian air transportation market is strategically important for the company and Wizz Air is processing plans to expand its presence.
Krikliy emphasized that the aviation industry has good positive dynamics and the expansion of Wizz Air's presence will contribute to its development.
