Today, November 16, 2018, after a week of work in the divisions of Ukraeroruh located in the cities of Kiev, Lviv and Uzhgorod, the auditors of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) completed certification activities within the framework of the certification audit of Ukraerorukh.

According to the press service of Ukraerorukh, the EASA audit was conducted under the supervision of representatives of the authorized civil aviation body of the Slovak Republic and the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.

EASA certification of Ukraeroruh is carried out in the context of fulfilling the requirements of EU legislation and obtaining the right to provide air traffic services to the airspace part of Slovakia, which is required for aircraft to take off and land on instruments from / to the Uzhgorod airfield..

"This is necessary for the resumption of flights at the airport" Uzhgorod "and the development of the infrastructure of the Transcarpathian region", - noted in Ukraeroruh.

EASA auditors Paul Harvey, Eric Chembroy and Manfred Dirof noted the high level of preparation of Ukraeroruh for certification, as well as openness and assistance in conducting an objective audit..

"According to preliminary results, Ukraerorukh successfully demonstrated its compliance with the package of requirements of EU legislation, which includes 18 EU regulations and was presented by EASA as part of the certification process. During the audit, the conformity of the management system, procedures and technical support of Ukraeroruh to European requirements was confirmed, ”said the director of Ukraerorukh Dmitry Babeychuk.

Minor technical measures are now planned for the preparation of the final report of the EASA audit team, which is expected to be received in early December of this year.. The report of the EASA group of auditors will be the basis for obtaining an EASA certificate, which will show that Ukraeroruh’s services comply with EU requirements and will become the basis for obtaining rights from the Slovak side to provide air traffic services in Slovakia’s airspace, which is necessary for maneuvering aircraft operations at the airport "Uzhgorod".
