German automaker Porsche, which is a subsidiary of the concern Volkswagen, refuses diesel engines. This is the head of Porsche Oliver Blume (Oliver Blume) said in an interview with the newspaper Bild am Sonntag, published on Sunday, September 23.

Porsche will concentrate on the production of cars on gasoline engines, on hybrids, and from 2019 will go to electric cars, Bloom said, quoted by DW.

The company had previously been involved in a "diesel scandal", from which "the image of Porsche has suffered," points out Bloom. It was he who in April this year told the staff about the arrest of one of the top managers of the company after the searches.

Investigators began an investigation into Porsche in the summer of 2017. The company was suspected of fraud and production of advertising, which operated with incorrect indicators on the content of harmful substances in the exhaust gases.
