First Deputy Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov today, September 21, met with representatives of the World Bank.

During the visit to Kharkiv, the delegation of the World Bank visited construction sites and got acquainted with the progress in the replacement of main pipelines. During the meeting, there was also a talk about the granting of a grant to Kharkiv Heating Networks for the optimization of the enterprise management structure.

"The city needs to strategically plan how the enterprise will operate in the face of rising tariffs and the cost of gas. We plan to optimize the structure of the enterprise and introduce new approaches in this work.

Today we discussed with representatives of the World Bank how we will interact in this matter, so that during the heating season the enterprise worked steadily, "said Igor Terekhov.

Representatives of the World Bank promised to make every effort to ensure that Kharkov received a new grant.

Recall that in Kharkov, large-scale work is underway to replace heating networks, which are performed for the city budget. Also, the World Bank provided loan funds for the acquisition of pipes for the reconstruction of the main highways of the city.
