Core inflation in August 2018 compared with the previous month was 0.1%, since the beginning of the year - 3.5%.

In the consumer market in August, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 0.6%. Most of all (by 10.5% and 6.2%) were cheaper vegetables and fruits.

On 0,4-0,2% the prices for fish and products from a fish, fat, oil. At the same time, egg prices increased by 6.0%, 1.1-0.

3% - grain products, meat and meat products, bread, sour milk products, pasta, soft drinks.

Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 0.9%, in t. tobacco products - by 1.3%, alcoholic beverages - by 0.3%.

The growth of prices (tariffs) for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.5% was mainly due to an increase in rent for rent by 1.7%, tariffs for sewerage - by 1.2%, maintenance of houses and adjacent territories - by 0.9%, water supply - by 0.8%.
