The outlook for the ruble is very sad, at least for the next 3 weeks. Despite the fact that trading on the Moscow stock exchange on Friday, August 17, closed down the dollar, expect to strengthen the national currency there is no reason. This is recognized by the analyst of the company "Alpari" Vladislav Antonov.

In his opinion, the dollar lost 2 kopecks at the end of the last trading session due to the published statistics - it turned out to be weak in the USA, and in Canada, on the contrary, it was strong. Therefore, the dollar on Friday was cheaper in relation to all world currencies. At the same time, the ruble managed to win back from the American monetary unit only a miserable one, since investors did not show interest to it even against the backdrop of slightly more expensive oil. And to the euro, the ruble as a result lost another 1%. Considering that on August 22 the US should introduce new sanctions against Russia - in particular, in support of London "in the case of the Skrypals" Washington introduces a ban on the supply of electronic devices of dual purpose and their components to the Russian Federation - only a "downward movement" is forecasted for the ruble, noted Antonov.

However, behind the black stripe should come white. "There is a positive moment. On a cyclical analysis, from September 7 to November 3, I get a phase of strengthening the ruble. Until September 7, you want to have time to sell all foreign currency at a favorable rate and for a while to move to the Russian ruble ", - leads the" Prime "analyst's opinion. The official rate of the ruble, set by the CBR on Monday, August 20, is 66.88 rubles. for 1 dollar and 76.19 for 1 euro.
