In the conditions of a constant increase in gasoline prices, the Federation of Car Owners of Russia checked dozens of gas stations in various regions of Russia and found out that the absolute majority of filling stations do not add more than 1 percent of the paid volume to gasoline tanks. "Barely revealed at 76 percent of gas stations," - said in a report FAR. It is specified that the experts checked 43 refuellings in 13 regions of Russia. On average, car owners in the country pour 5 percent less gasoline than they paid. Experts of the federation did not mention specific names, but noted that they are deceiving at the gas stations of large federal and regional networks, where car owners are losing 19 percent of fuel.

Thus, at these gas stations, drivers are forced to pay 55 rubles per liter instead of the declared 44-45 rubles. "Filling fuel is not only deceit of the consumer, but also an element of unfair competition," the FAR noted.. Moreover, the majority of gas stations fill their customers with gasoline, the quality of which does not comply with the declared standards. "Unfair market participants actually sell fuel at a higher market price, which does not yet meet the requirements of technical regulations," added the organization.
