The parties agreed that the amount of blue fuel delivered to the republic will increase. In addition, it was decided to jointly develop new deposits of black gold and other natural resources. Having positively evaluated the results of cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, the parties agreed to help increase the volume of Russian natural gas deliveries to the Republic of Korea and continue cooperation in this area, including consideration of the possibility of joint development of oil, gas and other hydrocarbon resources, " the text. Russia and South Korea also intend to exchange electricity, mutually consider providing the republic with Russian gas through the pipeline and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the Arctic.

The fact that Seoul's participation in the project "Arctic LNG-2" is already being worked out, said Vladimir Putin. The Asia-Pacific market is considered to be premium, as the prices for natural fuels are more expensive there than in Europe and the USA. By the way, in 12 years, South Korea plans to increase the share of blue fuel by about 20%. At the same time, according to the plan, she will renounce the peaceful atom and coal at power stations. That is, gas needs of the country will increase many-fold.
