At Uchalinsky GOK (enterprise of the raw complex of UMMC) the construction of the second stage of industrial sewage treatment plants. More than 270 million rubles have already been allocated for the implementation of the environmental project.

"The purpose of construction of the second stage of treatment facilities is to bring the concentration of polluting ingredients contained in clarified water to fish farm norms. The work is carried out within the framework of the Plan for Reducing Pollution Dumps, agreed with the Office of Rosprirodnadzor in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and also in the Chelyabinsk Region, "said Oleg Danilov, Chief Ecologist of Uchalinsky GOK.

The construction of the second stage of treatment facilities began with the installation at the neutralization station of the sludge dewatering unit: in two decanters (separators) of German production "Flottweg C7E-4/454 HTS", neutralized industrial effluents are separated into a clarified part and anhydrous sediment. As a result, the volume and quality of produced purified water increased by 15-20%. After a while, the installation of the third decanter will start - the plant has already received the bulk of equipment.

The next stage was the construction of a stabilizer pond for settling the clarified mine and sub-waste waters after a multistage treatment at the treatment facilities of the energy shop. Currently, in the bowl of the pond under construction, special concrete bridges.

"Clarified water will pass through the stabilizer pond, bending around concrete baffles.

This will increase the time it travels to the pumping pumps and, accordingly, the settling time from suspended particles.
