In Ukraine, it is impossible to produce AN-124 Ruslan cargo planes by Russian companies.
Representatives of the enterprise said that without the participation of experts from the Nezalezhny legendary aircraft simply can not fly up. Last week, a member of the Presidential Commission for the Development of Aviation, Yuri Sytnik, announced that the Ukrainian An-124 can be re-released in Russia under a new brand. The domestic version of the aircraft is modernized avionics, the chassis design, it will be supplied with new engines. This turn of events caused outrage in Kiev, which previously refused to work with Russia on the joint production of "Ruslanov". "In the case of modernization, it is envisaged to introduce changes in the standard design. At the same time, only the developer of the Antonov aircraft possesses all the technical knowledge and necessary information on the design, properties, resources, lifetime and airworthiness of the An-124-100 aircraft, including test data and analyzes necessary to maintain the integrity of the structure, " in the press service of the aviation enterprise. However, such statements have little to do with reality.
First, all the technical documentation on "Ruslan" long ago was transferred to Russia. Secondly, the maintenance of "flying trucks" the last few years are engaged exclusively in Russian enterprises. In Ukraine, there is no one to do this, since all qualified personnel left the country either to the West or to the Russian Federation. In fact, the An-124 has long been a Russian. From "Antonov" there was only a brand, and that's it from him in the aviation commission decided to get rid of. "This plane has already invested so much labor and brains of Russian engineers, technicians, specialists that from the Ukrainian An-124 there were only outlines. We must not forget that two thirds of the "Ruslans" that exist today in Russia are made in Ulyanovsk. They did a lot to improve the tactical and technical characteristics of this machine. Ukrainians threaten us with lawsuits, but the fact is that the An-124 machine for these long years of exploitation and modernization, indeed, almost 95% has already become a Russian. So here their claims are groundless, "military expert Viktor Baranets commented on the Sputnik radio broadcast. According to him, the final decision to upgrade the An-124 has not yet been made. Our country, of course, would be useful to such a machine. But on the other hand, Russia has an analog - Il-76.
Thinking about the alteration of the "Ruslan", "we must look at the size of the military budget, and consult with customers, the military," said Baranets. An-124-100 "Ruslan" - the most load-lifting commercial cargo plane. It was constructed in the first half of the 1980s. Russia and Ukraine for a long time conducted negotiations on joint production of An-124. The project also envisaged the modernization of aircraft. But in 2014 g. Kiev announced the withdrawal from the project due to the difficult political situation.
