A growing dollar and the "flight" of capital from emerging markets can lead to a major financial crisis, as a result of which the EU will face an imminent "existential" threat. This was announced by the famous American billionaire George Soros, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday, May 29. Few of this, Europeans are waiting for a wave of different financial disasters. According to him, the negative impact on the economy of the continent, including the devaluation of the currencies of emerging markets, will necessarily stop the nuclear deal with Iran and the destruction of the trans-Atlantic alliance between the EU and the US. "We can face another global financial crisis," the American said during his speech in Paris. Soros' warnings were made against the backdrop of the collapse of Italian government bonds, as well as economic problems in Argentina and Turkey, which are struggling to contain the consequences of terrible inflation. "Everything that could go wrong, went wrong," - said the 87-year-old financier. He pointed to the refugee crisis and the austerity policy that brought populist forces to power in some EU countries. Another problem is "territorial disintegration", an example of which is the withdrawal of Great Britain from the European Union. "This is no longer a figure of speech, that Europe is in an existential danger, this is a harsh reality," the businessman is convinced. Soros proposed a number of measures for Europeans to solve existing problems. In his view, in order to put an end to the flow of migrants, it is necessary to introduce a "Marshall Plan" for Africa, and Europe should be financed by it. It will cost about € 30 billion (about $ 35 billion) a year, but "migrant pressure on the continent" will decrease, the American believes. In addition, the trader is confident that the European Union needs a radical transformation, including the abrogation of the condition that obliges EU member states to enter into a single currency. "The euro has many unresolved problems that the European Union should not destroy," Soros concluded..

A native of Budapest spoke against the backdrop of information from Hungary that the government had drafted a bill criminalizing those who help illegal migrants.

The constitution can be amended to prevent the resettlement of refugees from other EU countries to Hungary.

Voting is expected next week, writes BBC.

The bill carries a very symbolic and loud name "Stop Soros" ("Stop Soros Act"). If the document is adopted, it will, among other things, complicate the life of public organizations, including those financed by the funds of the American billionaire.
