The help that the European Union will provide will be extended by two and a half years. In monetary terms, the subsidy will be € 1 billion, says the draft, which the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament must finally approve. According to the document, macrofinance support is a split in two. "The size of each tranche should be set in a memorandum of understanding," - quotes the text of the project RIA "Novosti". At the same time, as noted, Ukraine will fall into the European "bondage" for 15 years. It is this average loan maturity that is prescribed in document.

The proposal, which Kiev could not refuse, came from the European Commission in early spring. There they considered it possible to provide a new package of macro-financial support. However, this procedure is not easy. The program must be approved step by step. First, it should be approved separately by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. Answer from the first is expected in a few weeks. In July, both will sign a document. Finally, the Ukrainian authorities and the European Union will accept the memorandum of understanding.
