According to him, negotiations on the price of blue fuel will be resumed after the official composition of the new government is officially announced in Russia. Minsk is confident that they will be able to agree with colleagues on a new formula for payments.

To date, gas is supplied to Belarus at a price that is calculated by the formula taking into account the price for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. This agreement will be valid until the end of 2019. Semashko noted that this formula suits Minsk, but it should be optimized. We remind you that after the oil and gas conflict, Russia and Belarus agreed on a fixed price for gas for 2018-2019, which amounted to $ 129 and $ 127 per thousand cubic meters, respectively. The conflict occurred when, in 2016, Minsk wanted instead of 132 dollars per thousand cubic meters to pay 73 dollars.
