At the Malyshev plant in Kharkov, they update the equipment and are preparing to produce BTR-3 and BTR-4. Ka reported in the press service of the Kharkov Regional State Administration, on April 25 the main enterprise of the defense industry of the region successfully concluded a contract with Thailand.

Prospects for further development of the plant were considered during the visit of the head of HOGA Yulia Svetlichnaya and CEO of SC Ukroboronprom Pavel Bukin.

"In the Kharkov region we pay great attention to economic revival and, especially, to the development of industrial production. For us, it is extremely important that enterprises have orders, and people have a salary, "said the chairman of KHOGA. "Therefore, we are doing our best to cooperate with state authorities and state enterprise management bodies, as well as we bring problematic issues to the level of the Cabinet of Ministers, we use the support of the President of Ukraine in order to restore production and load the enterprises of the region. The plant named after Malyshev should work. Loading an enterprise is a priority task, over which we work together with the management body ".

Yulia Svetlichnaya noted that SE "Zavod im.. Malyshev "today is one of those enterprises of the region that demonstrate the dynamics of development. After losing years in 2017, the plant went into profit, now it not only timely pay salaries, but also begin to modernize production.

"Starting in 2018, the state financial support will be allocated for the modernization of the production facilities of the Malyshev plant. The investment program is not designed for one year, "- said the head of the region.

Pavel Bukin noted that over the past two years the Kharkov enterprise has fulfilled many orders - from both the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and foreign customers (Pakistan, Thailand).

According to the general director of the plant Alexander Hlanya, now the company is working on the resumption of production of lightly armored vehicles - armored personnel carriers.

"We are renewing the lines of light armored vehicles - we are planning the release of BTR-3 and BTR-4. All the equipment has already been purchased, the bench equipment has been mounted, - said Alexander Khlang.

- This year we have no worse than the previous one, it is fully contracted. Moreover - there are serious achievements for the next year, which I do not want to talk about before signing the contract ".

The head of the region noted: concrete state decisions, which are taken for the development of industry, give concrete results. For the Kharkov region this, in particular, is the growth of industrial production and the creation in 2017 alone of almost 4,000 new jobs in the industrial sector.
