Italians are interested to take part in the construction of the Kharkov underground. Such an opportunity was discussed during a meeting of the heads of structural subdivisions of the Kharkiv regional state administration with representatives of the company "Milan Metro".
Director of the Department of Economics and International Relations of the KhAGA Andrey Kolos gave a description of the economic relations between the Kharkiv region and Italy. According to him, in 2017, the foreign trade turnover amounted to $ 90 million. - this is 10% more than in 2016. Italian investments in our region at the moment amount to about $ 2 million.
"We continue to strengthen international relations. Helping in this will be direct flights: in a week, the Kharkov-Milan flight will start operating twice a week, "- said Andrey Kolos.
Representatives of the company "Milan Metro" told that their organization has built all five lines of the metro of Milan, and also participated in the construction of the metro in Naples. Today the company builds the metro in Greece, the UAE, India, the railways in Romania. In addition, the company is engaged in various types of construction - from houses to hydraulic structures.
According to the Italians, they decided to visit Ukraine in order to find the points for cooperation in the largest cities. In Kharkov, in particular, the company wants to take part in the construction of two new metro stations.
Andrei Kolos noted that the specialists of the regional administration will get acquainted in detail with the proposals of the Italian builders and will study the possibility of the company's participation in tenders for work.
