According to the Federal State Statistics Service, 35.2% of the total unpaid wages are accounted for by debts created in 2017, and 40.9% - by arrears that arose in 2016 and earlier. It is noted that the debts on wages are available in 46.7 thousand. people, which is less than 1% of employees in the surveyed economic activities. At the same time, 42% of them are engaged in processing industries, 21% - in construction; 12% in agriculture, 11% in transport, 4% in mining. The head of the Ministry of Labor, Maxim Topilin, earlier said that the debts on the wages of enterprises on March 1 this year fell by 25% compared to the same period last year.
