Minsk's efforts to diversify exports have borne fruit: if in 2016. shipments to Russia accounted for 46.6% of the total, then in 2017. they decreased to 43.9%. Such data was cited by the first deputy foreign minister of Belarus Andrei Evdochenko. However, he reassured Russian consumers, Belarusian goods from them will not go anywhere. "We basically do not have the goal to leave the Russian market, to increase supplies to any remote region of the planet due to a reduction in exports to Russia. Such a task is not worth it at all, "he explained in an interview, the text of which was published on the website of the republic's Foreign Ministry. "If the suppliers of all countries of the world are competing for this (Russian) market, then why should the Belarusians leave there," Yevdochenko stressed.. Meanwhile, "mono-dependence" from the Russian market "does not meet the requirements of modern economic security" of Belarus, the diplomat believes.. In connection with this, the Program of Social and Economic Development by 2020. envisages "to ensure systematic diversification of foreign trade with an equal - third-third-third - distribution of exports in the markets of the EAEC, the EU and other countries". But Russia, again indicated Evdochenko, no one is offended: the increase in supplies to other regions will go "not at the expense of" pinching "from Russia, but at the expense of faster rates of increasing exports to the EU and other countries". Opportunities for this in Minsk are, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic.

But only European consumers are too capricious - they should be supplied with modern high-quality products. With this, while the Belarusians have problems: "Unfortunately, we have such goods that meet high European standards, a little," - acknowledged Evdochenko. But the Foreign Ministry has a recipe:

"In addition to restoring the export of oil products and fertilizers, in order to enter the markets of Western countries, it is necessary to organize the production of a wide range of high-tech goods of high quality, which are in demand of very demanding and spoiled Western consumers," the diplomat advised.

Meanwhile, the design, quality and work of marketers remain at the same level, Belarus is forced to live in a "mono-dependence". But nothing, "the Russian market is very capacious, understandable for our exporters and by and large a predictable market," the diplomat reassured his already.
