The Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Alexander Danilyuk, said at an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on March 23 that he supports full legalization of the lottery business in Ukraine, GORDON.

According to Danilyuk, his ministry has been trying to resolve this issue for several years already, since the lottery business is "absolutely illegal", but it "is everywhere".

"This is absolutely unregulated market, completely illegal. A penny is not paid to the budget, although there turnover is hundreds of millions of dollars, "said Danilyuk.

According to him, the Ministry of Finance has developed new conditions for obtaining licenses for holding lotteries on a fee-based basis, and licensing conditions require regular deductions to the budget.

"Thus, we legalize this sphere," added Danilyuk.
