The Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev on March 12 gave start to the work of the new melting complex of the Kushvinsky factory of rolling rolls. The investment project worth almost 150 million rubles was implemented as part of a large-scale modernization of the rolling production of the enterprise, which is expected to be carried out until 2020.

"This is the most important element of the entire production process of the enterprise. Commissioning of new equipment will increase the plant's current assets, increase the number of jobs and, of course, improve the quality of the products produced here. After all, for us today is important not only the state of the Ural giant plants, it is important for us to develop such small enterprises as the Kushvinsky mill of rolling rolls. To this end, the Sverdlovsk region has about 70 different tools to support the industry - both federal and regional, "said the head of the region.

The melting complex of the German company OTTO JUNKER consists of two induction melting furnaces with a capacity of 16 tons each. The cost of the project included not only the purchase and installation of equipment, but also the construction of a power transmission line from the Goroblagodatskaya substation, made possible largely thanks to the joint efforts of the regional authorities and the IDGC of Urals.

The launch of the melting complex into commercial operation will increase the enterprise's output to 22,000 tons of rolls and make the plant's products more competitive. Also after the introduction of new equipment, the specific electricity consumption will decrease.

Within the framework of the whole project of modernization of rolling production, designed for 2012-2020, it is planned to create a single modern rolling mill complex on KZPV that produces products with improved characteristics. Also, it is planned to set up production of import-substituting products: sheet rolling rolls, rolls for thick plates with a mass of more than 30 tons, rolls for high-strength cast iron rolling mills and other. The total investment in the project is estimated at 2.2 billion rubles.

The project "Modernization of rolling production" is included in the list of investment projects of strategic importance for the social and economic development of the Sverdlovsk region. In addition, according to the governor, the issue of concluding a special investment contract with the KZPV.

During his visit to Kushva, the governor discussed with the heads of the municipality and industrialists the issues of training qualified personnel for the Ural industrial complex and the early vocational guidance of schoolchildren.

Let's note, Kushvinsky factory of rolling rolls today - the active participant initiated by the governor of the program "the Ural engineering school". In 2013, INNOPROM concluded an agreement between KZPV, the Ministry of General and Professional Education of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Baranchin Electromechanical Technical School on the establishment of a Center for Training Specialists for Metallurgy and Metalworking.

Here pupils of the 10th and 11th grades can now pass the training of the turner profession, having passed the theoretical part of the course first, and then the practical part - under the guidance of the teachers of the technical school and specialists of the enterprise. Exam from the children receives a special factory commission. According to the results of tests, students are awarded a scholarship from KZPV - 1-2 thousand rubles. The first graduates of the certificate center in 2014 were personally presented by Evgeny Kuyvashev. At present, four groups of schoolchildren.
