The first toll roads in Ukraine will appear only after the Verkhovna Rada adopts the draft law on concession proposed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

This in an interview with "Apostrophe" told Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Mikhail Titarchuk.

It is possible to expect such a decision of the parliament, in his words, in April-September 2018.

"When the Verkhovna Rada will adopt our draft law on concession, somewhere in the second or third quarters of this year.

And after that you can count the time, "- said Titarchuk, answering the question about the approximate time of appearance in Ukraine of the first toll roads.

He explained that the road constructed within the concession can pay off if it misses about 38 thousand. cars per day. The agreement with the investor, who will be engaged in its construction, presupposes compensation from the state, if the traffic proves to be insufficient. In turn, the investor undertakes to eliminate pits on the roads within 24 hours, otherwise fines will be waiting for him.
