It is noted that industrial production in January in annual terms increased by 2.9%. In relation to the same period last year, industrial production fell by 13.9%, but taking into account the seasonal factor, growth was 0.2%.

The largest growth in industrial production in January compared with January 2017 was recorded in the production of chemicals - by 55.

9%, production of electrical equipment - by 55.9%, production of computers - by 31%.

The biggest drop for this period occurred in the extraction of hard and brown coal - by 22.9%, production of coke and refined products - by 5.7%.

As previously reported, "URA-Inform", in "Ukrazaliznytsa" for January 2018, 525 new freight cars were manufactured, including 250 open-top wagons. Ukrainian wagon-building enterprises in 2018 have already delivered five times more wagons than in 2017.
