According to her, seven wells were drilled at the field before the annexation, after the seizure of the peninsula, Russia drilled 11 more wells. The illegitimate authorities of the Crimea are trying to pump out more gas from there, "explained Neshnova, adding that Russia illegally produced seven billion 200 million cubic meters of gas, of which half belong to the Odessa gas field.

At the same time, as she said, as international courts are approaching, Russia may take some measures to stop gas production, but the Russian authorities did not officially state this.

Recall that in 2014 drilling rigs, fleet and other assets of the Ukrainian state-owned company Chernomorneftegaz were captured by Russia. After that, Naftogaz of Ukraine lost control of this Crimean enterprise. Later GAO "Chernomorneftegaz" was recreated on the mainland of Ukraine.

As reported URA-Inform, Germany said that sanctions will be lifted from Russia only when the issue of the annexed Ukrainian Crimea and the conflict in the Donbass will be resolved.
