The appeal of the bank "Yugra" against the decision of the lower court will be considered by the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court on March 6. The owners of the bank believe that they have a chance to cancel the order of the Central Bank to revoke the license. Earlier, the Moscow Arbitration Court rejected this appeal of the credit institution. The license for the bank "Yugra" was selected on July 28, 2017. This was preceded by several months of work of the bank with the regulator: the execution of orders, the elimination of violations. Despite this, in early July, the bank introduced a temporary administration in the face of the Central Bank of the Agency for Deposit Insurance (DIA). Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the shareholders of "Ugra" made a move by horse - they addressed directly to the head of state. In the first letter they asked to get rid of their third-party managers, and in the second they pointed to the need to withdraw the DIA employees, reported "Days. RU". Both appeals were sent to the Central Bank with the note: "Nabiullina E. Etc. consider ". Around the same time, shareholders of Ugra sent appeals to the State Duma and directly to the Chairman of the Central Bank. The latter was accompanied by a recovery plan for the bank, which was coined in "Ugra". The shareholders of the bank did not receive an answer, but they did not leave any attempts to save the credit organization. In November, the head of the Central Bank sent a new recovery plan for Ugra, as well as a request for the return of a license. The first response was followed in December: the regulator reported that he saw no reason to implement the plan proposed a month ago. And before the New Year in "Ugra" delivered two more letters from the Central Bank.
One contained a refusal for the July solicitation, while the other said that it was impossible to return the license in connection with the "lack of mechanism". The insured event with the bankrupt bank "Yugra" became the largest in the history of the banking system of the Russian Federation. According to the DIA, the total amount of insurance compensation payments to depositors of Yugra was 169.2 billion rubles. At the same time, depositors, on whose accounts there were more than 1.4 million rubles, never returned their funds.
