The action to collect signatures of depositors who suffered from the decisions of the Central Bank to close a number of credit organizations was picked up by activists in many large cities of Russia. For several days already more than 20 thousand. people supported the idea to appeal to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and draw his attention to the actions of the regulator and the Deposit Insurance Agency, which many consider unreasonable and even illegal. Numerous depositors of Ugra, Probusinessbank, Tatfondbank, Peresvet and other banks closed by the regulator's decision, faced extremely unpleasant situations when, on claims of the DIA, the court forced them to return their own funds withdrawn from the accounts shortly before the bank was declared bankrupt.

People lose interest on deposits, lose amounts over the insured by 1.4 million rubles. In some cases, banks deprived of licenses were fully creditworthy, experts say.. In particular, depositors and shareholders of Ugra are sure that their bank was quite afloat and that it was deliberately brought to bankruptcy. At one time, offended clients of Ugra were set up by the Russian Union of Investors to work with the bank's management to deal with the regulator's decision and seek a return of the license. Now the Union of investors supported the activists, outraged by the actions of the DIA: "The campaign is gaining an all-Russia scope right before our eyes. Beginning as a private initiative of several people driven to despair, it is becoming more organized. And every day we are increasingly asserting ourselves that we will be able to inform the president of our misfortune, "- said the leader of the Union of Russian investors Nikolai Nikolaev. He calls to put signatures under the appeal to the president of all not indifferent people:

"We are fighting not only for the return of honestly earned money, but we are also trying to change the legislation so that it really guarantees the inviolability of private property of citizens,". py "words of Nikolaev.

For its part, the Association of Russian Banks intends to check the legality and reasonableness of the actions of the Association of Russian Banks. In addition, the head of the Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, Yaroslav Nilov, sent a request to the Central Bank Chairman Elvira Nabiullina, in which he pointed out the need to protect the interests of depositors.
