The corresponding order was published on Friday, February 2, on the website of the government of the Russian Federation. The message says, in particular, that in order to increase the loading and development of the organizations of the Crimean Federal District, the government of Russia signed an order according to which the Sevastopol Seaworthy Marine Plant named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze passes from the property of the city of Sevastopol to federal property with the definition of departmental belonging to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

At the same time, the Russian government is confident that a change of ownership will accelerate the integration of the plant into the Russian defense industry and will ensure a full load of production facilities.

The plant will carry out works and provide services to ensure the defense capability of Russia, including the repair of ships and ships of the Navy, as well as civilian marine equipment. The enterprise is included in the consolidated register of organizations of the military-industrial complex, the resolution says..

Recall that in 2015, after the illegal annexation of the Crimean Peninsula, the enterprise was "nationalized by the Russian authorities in favor of Sevastopol.

" As reported URA-Inform, the villa of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych at Cape Aya in the Crimea became the property of the company "Bereg". It is associated with the structures of Gennady Timchenko, Nikolai Shamalov, Sergei Rudnov and Sergei Roldugin - friends of Russian President Vladimir Putin. As writes Lb. ua, the former recreation center at Cape Aya was privatized by the Yanukovych family in 2007 at the same time as Mezhygorem. After that, a fence was erected there, relic trees were cut down and construction began.
