As the acting head of the company's board Yevgeny Kravtsov said, ticket prices did not rise for several years.

"We see the need to increase the tariff this year. In the financial plan for 2018, we laid the figures for a twofold increase of 10% each. Two times 10%, so that it was smooth and not so noticeable for people, "- said Yevgeny Kravtsov.

According to him, the agency plans to delimit the fare in three directions. The cheapest way is to travel in regional coach cars. Here the price will be determined by the state.

The most expensive travel will be on "Intercity" trains and night express trains - in this direction the tariffs will be determined directly by the carrier company.

"And somewhere in the middle there should be an intermediate intermediate tariff, which is set by the state, but for which we will demand a more serious increase. This will be the direction ("standard"), where we have not yet reached the proper level of service, but at the same time we are no longer performing a social function, "Kravtsov said in an interview with Channel 112.
